The Wilson Family

Our founders, Murray and Ann Wilson, encourage a strong family/team approach to the work we do here at Oxley … kind, respectful and full of fun, but buttressed by a strong work ethic and attention to detail. We strive for excellence in our wine, food, gardens and vineyards.

Now, their son Steve and his wife, Karolynn, are stewarding the business with the same philosophy. Steve is responsible for day-to-day operations, and two of his and Karolynn’s sons, our third generation, are deeply involved, too. Andy, with a diploma from Niagara College and degree from Brock University in viticulture and oenology, has taken the winemaker reins, and Matt, with a diploma from St. Clair College in horticulture, is in charge of the gardens and grounds.
